Background story of Rays

Let me tell you about the background of a story I’m working on. It’s about a trail a young girl faced despite her fears and the fears of others. This story is placed in a time where the economies around the world failed helping their people. And the people stopped helping each other. In that time the Rays appeared their technical name is angelic Beasts. Lower than angel, but higher than human. Their shapes and forms are sometimes mistaken as dragons. These beasts are but gentle giants to children, but to the adults they have cause to fear them. They are here to destroy and heal the void evil has created. All who follow evils’ ways were destroyed. Society was coming back and people were helping each other. By now people noticed that the beasts never attack where there was light and found ways to protect themselves. Some of the rich who survive the beast attacks by hiding away found this out and founded the government which is a military that governs the world and what is left of the nations. Within the nations were small towns, but for smaller nations there were one or two towns living. Some were wiped entirely off the map of the world either by the beasts or by other humans.  The Government provide protection and offered ways to survive and in return they asked for workers and supplies. Few towns said no to their protection but almost all said yes. But the government had a secret they were striving to control the world and destroy all the Beasts. Then one day a prophecy was born about the end of the reign of the Ray Beasts on earth. The boy who brought the news of the prophecy was deemed a lunatic. But then there was an incident in which the boy was rescued from a fire at the institute where he was held by no other than Gidden the strongest and first Ray that ever appeared on earth. Gidden is the Leader of all beasts and most feared by all. He returned the boy to his people and the boy was hailed as a prophet. The prophecy was that a child would come that was linked to the Gidden and he or she would end the reign of the Ray Beasts. Years later he wrote the book of Rays and is said he died in a wild Fire that burnt down the build he was living in. The book was found among the ashes and published to the people of the world.

Christiana Roselite Flame better known as Roselite loves her family and her home town. She has had a crush on her childhood friend Dylan for a while. But when the truth is revealed he loves another. Roselite world is turned upside down and apart in two. When the government holds its yearly summer reading to test the children under eighteen, Roselite is shocked to find out she had advanced for farther testing. These tests are no ordinary tests where children read a book and answer questions. No, Roselite is tested mentally, physically, and subconsciously.  Roselite is scared and so are the other kids that had advanced. But what makes her different isn’t her fire eyes or ember hair, but that she has had strange dreams. Is it a bad thing or good thing these dreams happen to her now, but she will soon find out.
